Ever wonder what it takes to create the magic of the Walt Disney World® Resort? You will be astounded as Backstage Magic unveils the fine points behind the artistic, technical and scientific operations found throughout the theme parks. This behind-the-scenes adventure guides participants through the magic of one man's dream, Walt Disney.

Highlights include visits to the following locations:

The American Adventure: Discover the architectural decisions that contributed to the construction of the American Adventure pavilion and observe the unique technology that brings the story of the American experience attraction to life.

Epcot® Cast Services: Explore a portion of the world's largest working wardrobe, where Disney Cast Members (employees) prepare for their role in the show.

The Utilidor System: Journey beneath the Magic Kingdom® Park to view support systems located in the "tunnel."

Magic Kingdom® Production Center: Discover what it takes to put on a Disney parade, 365 days a year.

North Service Area: In Central Shops, explore the world of the "can do" builders of Disney "magic." Look at the inner workings of audio-animatronics figures and explore "assembly alley".

Creative Costuming: Examine the process of Disney costume design and fabrication. Observe talented professionals as they craft the elaborate costumes that enhance the world's most famous show.

Tower of Terror: View the eerie lift that defies time and thrills guests who dare to venture into the Hollywood Tower of Terror Hotel.

Whispering Canyon Guest Speaker: Hear from one of the experts how Disney's front line management uses training and recognition to enhance the Guest dining experience.

This tour includes a dining experience at the Whispering Canyon Café at Disney's Wilderness Lodge where the goings-on get a little rowdy and everyone enjoys lunch - Western style.

The shows, attractions and facilities presented in this full-day experience are sure to be a highlight of your visit, whether this is your first or thirtieth visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Participants must be at least 16 years old. There is walking involved, so comfortable shoes are recommended and attire should be suitable for current weather conditions. Theme park admission is not included or required. Actual locations, or the order in which they are presented, are subject to change.
