FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you have a question about the event that isn't answered here, please check our general FAQ page, or contact us!
Q. Is there a charge for this event? +Show answer A. There will be a registration charge for this event. Registration is currently set at $8 for adults and $3 for children between the ages of three and fifteen. Children under three receive free registration. A portion of the fee from each registration (both adult and child) will be added to our Donation Collection, to be presented in a special ceremony as part of our Charity Initiative. The registration fee covers part of our costs for producing the event and mailing your registration credentials prior to the event.
Q. Does my registration for “Fifty-Five” include my admission, food, lodging or any merchandise during the event? +Show answer
A. Registration for “Fifty-Five” includes your credentials, event schedule, sponsor/partner related promotional materials and any specific WDWCelebrations-branded items related to the event (i.e. Scavenger Hunt forms, etc.) Your registration does not cover any park admission, food, lodging or merchandise unless otherwise noted in an official WDWCelebrations announcement or document.
Q. Are there any recommendations for hotels at the Disneyland® Resort? +Show answer
Q. Do I need to participate in all of the events of the day, or can I participate in only some of them? +Show answer
A. There are no "requirements" for attending any of the scheduled activities. Please feel free to participate in as many or as few of the scheduled activities as you like. However, all attendees are reminded that to participate in any of our activities, you will need a lanyard and nametag in order to be identified as part of our group. This is a requirement of Disney in order for our guests to congregate in the parks.
Q. This is my first time visiting the Disneyland Resort. Will I have enough time to experience the parks throughout your event? +Show answer A. WDWCelebrations events are designed to offer memorable experiences for all types of guests, whether first-time visitors or longtime passholders. Our schedule has been planned with plenty of free time to allow guests to enjoy the Disneyland® Resort on their own, and as mentioned in the previous question, all events are optional, thus giving you plenty of choices on how to plan your visit. If you wish to attend all of the WDWCelebrations activities and still wish to have more time for yourself, we recommend looking into extending your travels to allow for more days on your own schedule.
Q. When will I receive my registration credentials? +Show answer A. All registration credentials will be mailed several weeks before the event via First Class Mail.
Q. Can you give us more information on the schedule for the event? +Show answer
A. With the opening of our event registration, we have released our Tentative Schedule. This or any schedule marked "tentative" is subject to change. Please remember, our event schedule may be updated during the event itself for various reasons, including inclement weather, when meet locations may be moved indoors or under cover. We recommend taking advantage of one of our Event Schedule Update Services to be notified of any changes or other important information during the event itself. More information on the Event Schedule Updates Systems will be published closer to the event date.
Q. Is this event child friendly? +Show answer
A. All WDWCelebrations events are suitable for any age group. While certain activities in our schedule may not be accessible to all guests, due to height, age, or other restrictions, we have attempted to plan the overall event with all ages in mind.
Q. Are there any requirements for event guests with regard to dress code and behavior? +Show answer
A. WDWCelebrations expects that all attendees adhere to the rules and requirements set by the Walt Disney Company for its own parks and attractions. Violation of any park rules or regulations is cause for automatic dismissal from our events (and in the case of premium or add-on events, without a refund) with a likely ban from attendance of future events. As guests of the Disneyland® Resort, we have a special relationship with our hosts and expect that all attendees of our events respect that relationship. Any and all dismissals from events are made at the discretion of the WDWCelebrations team or Disney management.
Q. I am Disney Vacation Club member. Can I stay in a DVC resort or are special accomodations required? +Show answer
A. We have no specific requirements regarding resort accomodations for our event guests. Park admission is required, of course.
Q. Will you be offering your Event Schedule Updates Systems for Fifty-Five? +Show answer
A. We will offer the Event Schedule Updates Systems for Fifty-Five. More information on the Event Schedule Updates Systems will be published closer to the event date..
Q. Celebration 25 offered great surprises including special tickets for Marty Sklar's talks and a meet and greet with the Vice President of Epcot®, Jim Macphee. Can we expect any similar surprises or meet and greet opportunities at upcoming events? +Show answer
A. While the WDWCelebrations team is dedicated to offering memorable moments at all of our events, we cannot make any promises for any upcoming events.
